My Musical Compositions

Here's all the music I made in 2019-2023. The album images are made by Myoko.

The music is free to use in non-commercial projects as long as I get visibly credited in the place it is used in. In case it's not possible, contact me for further details. In case of commercial projects, the price is debatable (but fairly low).

Also, please don't judge the names. Sometimes I don't have good ideas with them.

Prophets of Reweaving

September 19, 2023

My first and so far only piece that was fully improvised in one go, with only some tempo issues adjusted later. I especially like the unexpected dissonance in 1:45, and also the rather unexpected minor chord at the end.

A Gaze at the Glass Ceiling

September 18, 2023

A calm yet very distinctive piece right from the beginning. It constantly goes on harmonic travels, visiting the major scale in 0:47, moving over great dissonances past 1:22, seventh chords following 1:44, and then even hanging out a bit with the theme from "A Faceoff with the Past"! Despite my ambitions to finally compose something beyond the fifth minute, or even pass the sixth, my initial ending idea turned out to be a complete failure and I had to limit myself to something rather unsatisfying.

Leap of Placidity

September 18, 2023

One of my reflective piano pieces from January 2022 which I couldn't continue until almost 1,5 year later. Even so, I'm afraid I couldn't provide an ideal continuation to the great initial melody, and the whole thing is rather dull.

Mount the Mist

July 20, 2023

A work I began in 2022, improvised over 2 minutes on one day and then left unfinished for over a year. In the end, because it's decently good, I decided to find my way to its end and include it here. Even so, I'm afraid the guitar doesn't fit well especially at the beginning, but couldn't find any substitute for it.

Gnurak Chuka

February 10, 2023

An absolutely crazy boss battle theme with the first melody derived from "Gnurak Skulur". The piece gets especially good at 0:29 (thanks to a seventh chord) but starts getting repetitive later and I think after the dynamics drop at 1:28 it gets rather uninteresting. (Also who doesn't like the random note spam at 0:56?)

Skari Shostun

January 30, 2023

Don't get discouraged by the initial repetitiveness, and you'll see that this piece has some actual melodies to it. While they are written in a minor scale, I constantly interrupt them with the less consonant initial theme which adds a lot of variation. I especially like the harmonics in 2:16. It's worth mentioning that what makes this piece unusual is that it both begins and ends with a diminished chord.

Oikani Lorkit

January 30, 2023

The second track for the canceled dungeon game. Although it quite gives some dungeon feels, it's generally repetitive and I see it as the worst piece among the four.

Yarn of the Universe

September 20, 2022

A piece that was first intended for a quickly canceled Bitrium game provisionally called "Space Explorers". It was one of those rare pieces that I started without expecting any great result, but ended up making a great mix of melody and rhythm in the second half. I hope the first half doesn't discourage reaching it.

Gnurak Skulur

September 19, 2022

The first piece intended for an ultimately canceled dungeon game called Gon Guon. I started it 5 months earlier and had trouble expanding it, which can be heard by the awkwardness of 0:50, but it was one of those pieces that are too cool to be left unfinished, and eventually ended up great, though perhaps too repetitive at times. I really like how the organ moves down an octave by the end. I still fear the piece has too much reverb despite trying my best to get the perfect result.

Groove of the Mystics (aka. "Underground")

September 1, 2022

My first and so far only piece composed fully in the melodic minor scale. Although the same motif repeats throughout most of the piece, the variation it receives, as well as the atmospheric deep piano, followed by a dreamy transformation to the piano section starting at 1:57, makes it an absolutely distinctive piece among my works. It also has a funny name history – at first it was intended for an "Aquatic Forest" biome (the leading sound was different), so I called it "Grove of the Mystics". After changing the main sound I had no idea what to do with the name. Then, at one moment, I accidentally wrote it with double "o", getting "Groove". It was so funny that I couldn't not keep it.

Drill of the Chill (aka. "Snowy Underground")

September 1, 2022

The thirteenth piece for the then not yet canceled Bitrium game project. Similar to the other "snowy" pieces, it features the electric piano and fragments of the "Frozen Ravage" motif, but this time with a more march-like melody, also invented on the piano. The piece becomes especially expressive at 2:26 and continues till the end (I especially like the piano ending), but I'm afraid the buildup to that moment is rather dull and unsatisfying.

Lost Spirit

July 8, 2022

A very emotional piece created in a period of reflections. Even with all of its expressiveness, I'm afraid the bass at 0:53 is a little too strong but couldn't do anything about it.

A Faceoff with the Past

May 26, 2022

This piece had one of the funniest beginnings. The day before retrying a failed exam from a subject I was sick of in my first university which turned out to be absolutely terrible, I was trying to forget about it trying some new music, and I found the initial sound to be a perfect representation of how tired and fed up I felt. The name was derived exactly from that exam which I'd normally already have behind, but ended up amplifying itself to the whole university. Later I struggled for a prolonged time to complete the piece. The ending, already inspired by different circumstances, is something I find one of my most beautiful passages.

Yet Another Elevator Music

May 1, 2022

On 30 November 2021, I had a brief idea to try making my own "elevator music" for fun, and it gave birth to this piece. The repetitive rhythm, made on purpose as it was a piece for fun, ended up providing the whole character and coolness to this piece. Having trouble expanding it in the end, I quite accidentally came up with a crazy idea to add some orchestral instruments, which ended up bringing this piece on an entire new level of coolness. Already before its completion, I set it as my ringtone and keep it to this day.

Depths of Shallow

April 29, 2022

One out of many reflecting piano pieces I came up with in January 2022, which I initially wanted to make into their own album, but too many were left unevolved. Even though I find the melody rather unusual, and most of the piece generally soothing, it may become boring by the end which I struggled with for four months.

Woodland Explorers

April 21, 2022

Started at the end of 2021, it's a very calm piece I'd always wanted to complete. Even though I was never fully satisfied finding the right piano to fit it, I find the rhythms in the second half especially cool.

Unnamed (aka. "Desert Settlement")

December 22, 2021

A variation of the previous piece with notes changed to fit the Double Harmonic Major scale. Even though it's almost the same piece, it gives absolutely different feels. Perhaps there's more pieces that can sound good in this scale?

Unnamed (aka. "Settlement")

December 20, 2021

This piece starts with a great uplifting melody which I invented already in September. I tried to expand it all autumn, wanting to complete it at all costs, but found the end result only mildly satisfying.

Unnamed (aka. "Island")

December 20, 2021

Based on a percussive theme I invented while tapping a book, which I initially meant for a "jungle" theme that was never created, this mandolin piece evolves into something much deeper which I already find comparable with the first pieces in the soundtrack. Anyway, maybe it wasn't the best idea to use a contrabass as percussion again.

Unnamed (aka. "Desert Night")

December 14, 2021

Created in a similar method to the previous piece, though this piece is actually a second attempt. Even though it's better than the first one, it's hard to compare it to the first themes from the soundtrack.

Unnamed (aka. "Snowy Night")

October 7, 2021

This one is also based on a melody invented on the piano. I tried to mix it with the sound from "Gloomy Ocean", but it ended up rather bad. On the other hand, the later melodies may sound interesting.

Unnamed (aka. "Ocean")

October 4, 2021

After a prolonged period of no inspiration, I finally came up with this melody, replacing different failed melodies for the piece. Perhaps I'd do the same with this one, quite dissatisfied with the oboe part, but what followed was too deep and expressive to be left unheard. Also, the moment at 3:01 was totally not inspired by C418's "Strad".

Gloomy Ocean

July 21, 2021

One of my best and also most ambient pieces. After coming up with the initial melody on the piano, I followed by mixing it with a melody from an unfinished piece for a biome called "the Gloom". After 2:16, when the piece stops for a while to focus on a single melody, it begins to peacefully transform back into the main theme and I find it the best moment in the piece.

Unnamed (aka. "Desert")

July 10, 2021

After more experiments with the Double Harmonic Major scale in spring, I came up with an amazing melody, which I gave to the flute and mandolin duo at 0:58 which became the base for this piece. After a short electric piano improvisation, the melody returns with double power, after which it proceeds to a rhythmic repetition by the electric piano. Even though it sounds amazing, I struggled a lot with the beginning, and I'm also afraid the percussive mandolin may be hard to bear for a longer time.

Unnamed (aka. "Taiga")

June 20, 2021

Because taiga shared the characteristics of a tundra and the forest, I decided to do exactly that with my music. Although the piece starts with the Forest melody played by the Tundra sound, it quickly evolves into its own fascinating melodies. I made a great use of the cello as a percussive element to add up to the atmosphere. One of the best moments is when the piece gets suddenly joined by the mandolin, but I'm afraid it might have ended up a bit too harsh at times again.

Unnamed (aka. "Tundra")

March 9, 2021

A very slow and soothing piece representing a tundra. Because of its snowy character, I used the old theme from "Frozen Ravage", played by the same sound, and mixed it with the leading theme I came up with on the piano, but because they were hard to connect, the theme only comes in at 1:43, almost halfway through the piece. After that, I came up with a mandolin extension of the theme, but perhaps it ended up too harsh.

Unnamed (aka. "Pyramid")

February 14, 2021

The second theme for Bitrium's canceled survival game, this time for a pyramid. I came up with the theme in January after accidentally discovering the Double Harmonic Major scale. Initially it was played by a piano, it was terrible and it seemed that nothing's going to help. But after I started experiencing with my old piano as a MIDI keyboard and accidentally played the theme on a reverbed choir, the melody suddenly felt almost divine. I still used the piano as a secondary instrument and put much work into fitting the drums to it. Even though I was running out of ideas by the end, I still find this piece quite amazing.

Unnamed (aka. "Forest")

February 6, 2021

The first theme I wrote for the new Bitrium survival game, provisionally named MPD. It is based on another theme called "Murmurs" (which was to serve as the title theme for the game) – the scale is the same and the melody starts very similarly. After some evolution, at 1:14 the melody is joined by a mandolin – an instrument I'd never used before. Because of its great influence on the piece, it made its appearance in almost every next piece devoted to the game. Nonetheless, even with the mandolin, I think this piece eventually gets too repetitive in the end.

Boiling Flames

December 28, 2020

The first music I made for a boss battle, but the game project it was made for was abandoned as I mentioned below. I didn't have time to make music in fall 2020 because of huge amounts of schoolwork; this piece was started in October 2020. After I found out about equalization and started learning music theory (hmm, about time), I've made this track one of my best compositions compared to the previous ones. Unfortunately I wasn't experienced enough with equalization and I kept the percussion quiet throughout the piece in order not to distract the listener from the main melody; apart from that, the music is really cool. You won't believe it, but I came up with the beginning while learning to play Rondo Alla Turca on piano. My favorite moments in the music are 0:53-1:13 and the last 15 seconds.

The Spirit of Adventure

August 5, 2020

One of my best pieces made in 2020. In the abandoned game project (see below), it was supposed to play in the trailer and credits. In this piece, everything cooperates perfectly. I've made most of the piece back on 14th June and it was destined to be the world map theme for the abandoned labyrinth game project (see Escape of the Bits). I've then remade the piece by replacing most of the oscillator sounds with Rhodes piano and added an ending.

Temple Strider

August 3, 2020

This one is really good. It features a string instrument combined with rhodes piano and some percussion. It was also going to play in the abandoned game project.

Path of the Chaotic

July 29, 2020

The next piece I made for the abandoned game project (see below) and my first piece featuring a choir and organ. For some reason the drums only sound good when listening with headphones. I'm particularly proud of the organ solo part.

Steady Transiting

July 8, 2020

In early July me and my friends from our game development team decided to work on a future project and I started composing music for it. Eventually the project was canceled and I composed 5 tracks in the meantime; this is the first one. It's a really nice composition featuring many string instruments as well as a bass sound for the first time, but I'm not really proud of the ending.

Forbidden Travel

June 28, 2020

After over 2 weeks of lack of inspiration caused mainly with the failed labyrinth game project (see below for more), I've managed to create this music and it's once again one of reflective character, once again features piano and strings, and once again gets a little more positive over time. This one also features percussion, but it isn't really fitting the entire piece. The name refers to the lack of time to do everything we want to do and decisions we have to make about abandoning some projects for succeeding in different ones.

Mad Pixels

June 15, 2020

Another music for the labyrinth game. I've came up with the beginning many years earlier! I was so happy to make it real.

Escape of the Bits

June 12, 2020

On June 10th I started working on a private game project about labyrinths, unfortunately abandoned in 2 weeks. I really had fun making music for it as it was finally destined for something, not just some music which will probably never be used. It features oscillators and percussion. It's a little similar to chiptune music.

May it Shine

May 29, 2020

I used to have problems whenever I didn't have inspiration for more than even just a week, and this piece is kind of a reflection on this. Once again it's a piano-strings composition, but this time I've came up with most of the melody on piano. The only problem I have with this piece is that the piano doesn't really fit the strings. Nevertheless, the ending is quite impressive.

Monotonous Moments

May 28, 2020

I'm not really proud of this one. It's a yet another piano solo.

Frozen Ravage

May 22, 2020

This one is different from most of my music. It's a bit reflective and it lasts almost 5 minutes. You may find it very repetitive but it eventually evolves into something more. The main sound is... electric piano; somehow I managed to apply such effects that it sounds a bit... cold, and hence the "Frozen" in the name. Anytime the music gets more interesting, it is joined by a string instrument which serves as a great background. The rest is just reverbed and inversed percussion. Strange, huh?

Clown's Teeth

April 27, 2020

Again, no idea for a better name, so I picked the first one that came to my head. It's another piano solo, but a little bit more crazy with bass sounds jumping from place to place and a speedy melody. A friend of mine said it's missing some percussion; perpahs he's right.

Windy Dream

April 23, 2020

This one has quite a rich melody and at first I underestimated this piece a bit. It's a piano combined with strings, sometimes accompanied by some percussion. These days I think it's fairly enjoyable.

Breathing Silence

March 25, 2020

I started this track in mid January 2020. It's a bit weird; the main sound is called a "clav" in FL Studio. I've used the sound a few times in previous compositions, but this time it plays on low octaves and it's reverbed (but I think the decay is a little too long). The percussion isn't as good, unfortunately, as I didn't have much experience with it back then, especially when it comes to eccentric music. The piece consists of three melodies, the first one starts at 0:45. It used to be one of my personal favorites among my pieces and it still is one I really enjoy. The original piece from January included different percussion which also were playing on low octaves, but they sounded too bad and I changed them.

Against the Windpower

March 22, 2020

The last of the finished short pieces; another piano solo. The beginning might be a little too long, but I think it ends quite well.

The Fruit of Gluten

March 12, 2020

This music is a joke, the name doesn't make sense; originally it was made for a friend. I know, it's terrible.

The Inevitable

March 11, 2020

A bit more sad piece, this time it's a strings solo piece. I think it should be longer. I had amazing ideas while making the chords and the convolution effect is applied here as well.

Travel's Epitome

March 10, 2020

From March 10th to March 23rd I've been working on short tracks to improve my productivity and I finished some of them. This is the first one and it's a fully improvised guitar solo piece. The first half of the piece seems great to me but I didn't have as much inspiration while creating the other half.

The Battle of Azgravan

February 9, 2020

This music was supposed to play in the title screen of an unfinished game project called The Battle of Azgravan. Unfortunately, the audio is clipping a bit throughout most of the music. Luckily, the second half is a bit more listenable. As you can see, I was a little crazy at 2:27, but it eventually transforms into a quite cool melody at 2:40 and ends quite nicely. I might improve this piece sometime because the melody is great; perpaphs I'll make an orchestrated version.

Last Go For Broke

January 23, 2020

Simultaneously, I was working on improving an old incomplete project from mid 2019. To the previously solo piano composition, I've added a guitar and a strange string-like sound. The name is supposed to mean a vision of a final showdown with an unclear result.

The Next Generation remake

January 22, 2020

By the end of December 2019 I've checked out an FL Studio tutorial and found out about effect plugins. After a few unfinished projects in December and January, I've decided to improve and extend The Next Generation and the effect was quite great. It might sound a bit repetitive, though.

The Next Generation

November 10, 2019

I've been composing less frequently in fall 2019 because I had many other issues. In November, BeetMacol and I were preparing a modpack for the game Minecraft to play together with our friends, and this music played in the game's Main Menu in the modpack.

Abandon

July 7, 2019

My first completed piece that features string instruments. It gives a way more serious feeling than the previous ones. On the 2019 podium I'd give it the second place.

Motivation

June 29, 2019

I created most of this piece on 9th May, so I consider this one along with Inspiration to be the two of my initial music experiences. This is also the last piece I've made together with BeetMacol. The main sound is once again piano, and the percussion was once again made by BeetMacol.

Grass Walker

June 28, 2019

I consider this piece the best one I made in 2019. I even looked back to it a lot in 2020. The inspiration and improvisation skill I had while making this piece were on their highest at the time and I couldn't repeat this success for a long time.

New Beginning

June 26, 2019

One of the two pieces I've created with my brother BeetMacol. He made the percussion loop and I added the piano. The music keeps building up the whole time and then it ends, I think a little too fast. I may improve it sometime, but the original project file was lost, so I'd have to re-create the entire piece.

The Adventure's Start

June 25, 2019

A very positive march-like music I originally came up with back in November 2018 while playing the piano. At first I wanted the whole piece to be played by guitars or something alike, but I couldn't find any and I didn't know what a VSTi is at the time. In fact, the biggest problem with this music is my lack of experience with working with sounds themselves, so I consider this one quite a success.

Mysteriuos Tunnel

June 20, 2019

In late June 2019 I had a lot of motivation and started creating many pieces, sometimes a few at the same time. This one is a piano solo composition. The name comes from the fact that most of the notes used in the music formed something which looked like a tunnel to me. This music is messy at times (for example, 1:07-1:10 is quite confusing) and some sounds have doubled volume because I accidentally placed them twice and it wasn't visible that there are two notes in the same place. Nevertheless, this music also features some nice melodies; my favorite part is 0:33-0:39.

Inspiration

May 11, 2019

This is the first completed piece I have ever created in FL Studio. I named it "Inspiration" because I had a huge spark of inspiration at the time and I made the whole music in just 1,5 hours. I know it doesn't sound that well, it's quite monotonous and the percussion I chose was just the basic one provided in the most basic FL Studio template, but at the time it was something great for me as I've never had such an experience before. After all, everything needs to start somewhere. This is where I have started.

I started making music in late March, 2019.

At first it wasn't a serious activity and I worked on a project once in a week, two weeks, or maybe even a month at first. By late April I started to make it more often and soon I started creating my first pieces. The projects I worked on earlier weren't serious at all and were mostly experiments as I was checking out how the program (FL Studio) works.
