The Information Update | September 22, 2023

The greatest update of the website?

I said this will be the greatest update, so why are there less sections? Did the website shrink?

Although I'm taking measures to improve the website's readability, this isn't really the case. If you look closely, you'll notice that almost every currently existing section in the website has actually doubled in size! This doesn't mean that new sections aren't possible, it's just that some projects have to undergo improvements or become more important to appear in the topbar.

As you probably noticed, the entire Home section was redesigned into a far more readable page. The About page, which I first meant to put in the topbar, can be found linked to Home and located in the Other section. By doing so, I've put away the more distant details in the distance. I also added images and brief descriptions for each subsection to make things clearer.

Music is out!

After many years, I'm finally releasing all of my music, in four completed albums, on the website. Previously, the website contained only what made up the first album and half of the fourth album. That's a lot to explore!

I also plan to publicly release my music on streaming platforms by the end of this year.

Self-improvement research

Another long-lasting project I foreshadowed earlier has now been made accessible, but due to many though little possible improvements, and also its size, it's only available in English for now. Besides complementing the "article" I once made, it also moves a ton of other topics. I hope someone can find this useful... and come here more often.

More content?

Besides this, I've also added a few smaller projects, but generally speaking I will now focus on improving and expanding the existing sections with few new ones popping out. I don't see any more big updates on the horizon, but many smaller ones, bit by bit adding to the big picture, are now highly possible. Expect more music, more stories, and other creative things.

Despite what I said about translations, I'm now actually working on a Ukrainian translation (partly because it was hard to bear to have a Russian flag and no Ukrainian one, but also for other reasons), and if everything turns out well, one day I may also do a Finnish translation. But we'll see what future brings.

Worldbuilding Update | May 5, 2023

I'm releasing a minor update with a worldbuilding project I was working on since July 2021: the map of Omakea. This update is not part of the 5.0 Information Update, the next major update, which should appear by August.

The Creative Update | February 1, 2023

New major update since 1.5 years!

I'm happy to announce that a new major update called the Creative Update is now out. I worked hard for the last half a year for this update to be released. For the interested, I've made a separate paragraph explaining what happened in 2022 and why there weren't any serious updates that year.

The new update features improved versions of all my early musical compositions and a couple of new ones. I still haven't released my music from 2021, but it will soon be out one way or another. I've also released a couple of my stories, but for now they are only in Polish and are therefore located in the Other section. I've also added a description of my board game Łowcy Niebios, on which I spent most of my remaining time in 2021.

The update also comes with two new translations (as well as an experimental translation in my conlang Daikova). I've written all of them entirely by myself mostly in summer 2022 and then revised before the update. If you're wondering why there's no translation in, for example, Ukrainian, it's simply because I am not familiar with other languages and don't want to create low-quality translations. Therefore, new translations are unlikely unless someone supports with their own, reliable translation of the website performed by themselves.

Another major update may be coming soon

If you've explored the new version thoroughly, you may have also noticed that my old article about organization and planning is now archived. It's because recently I've started studying management in Łazarski University and found some elements of the article irrelevant. I'm not going to rewrite the article, however relevant information will be covered by my new project started in January 2022 which will receive its own section in the website in the 5.0 Information Update.

The next update will further divide and order the website, adding at least two new sections, and merging at least another two. Its full preparation will take more than 500 hours (50% of which is complete by now), so I'm currently hoping for the update to be out somewhere by summer 2023.

What happened in 2022?

Although there were no major updates in 2022, it was actually a very busy year.

By the beginning of the year, I quite struggled in my previous university, which I've eventually left (as it turned out, it was a very good decision). In the meantime, I started working on many things which would be available in 5.0 or later. It's because by that time there was no concrete image of the next major update. In spring, I assembled plenty of musical resources necessary for composing better music. I also spent a great amount of time working on my language and piano abilities, the former of which I've made use of in July, when I started working on 4.0. Around the same time, I finally started writing a successful story, which was the main reason the update took so long. In September I started working on improving my music and decided to include that in the update, too. Earlier, I also attempted to make a return to math, but it was only possible by the time I got into the new university. My programming skills have not been in use in 2022, however I will have a return to programming in spring when I will be introduced to Python at the university. Therefore, 5.0 may also feature some changes in the code.

Thus, there's a lot to come this year.

Other Update | August 19, 2021

Recently, I've had a lot of time, so this update is so far the biggest update of the website.

What's New

This update was going to appear by the end of June (blame BeetMacol), but now the code is way way better (thank BeetMacol), which makes the website load way faster and it's now easier for me to extend it. If you've been to the website earlier, you can see that it changed considerably and looks cleaner and better.

When it comes to new content, the main new feature of the update is the Other section. Its main purpose is to keep you on the website longer. It doesn't feature a lot, but it's not as bad as you may think. Apart from that, I've rewritten the Home section and tweaked a few things here and there. The website also got a cool 404 error page. Now, I won't be mentioning every change because it'd bore you - but if you're interested, you can learn of as many changes as you want in the newly added Changelog!

What Next

There's much more going on behind the scenes and I'm planning to add plenty of new content. Therefore, I've added the List of things coming soon for those who want to know about all the new stuff that are going to appear... Well, almost all. I need to keep a few surprises in secret, right?

Anyway, out of the biggest new things yet to come are at least two website games and some of my recent stories, but at first they'll possibly appear only in Polish. I didn't forget about the previous sections, though. In a few months I'll surely add all of my 2021 music in the Music section (it's a part of a soundtrack yet to be released) and I'm still adding new math tools from time to time. I'm afraid, however, that I won't be updating the Graphs section anymore and I might consider grouping it with the math tools into one big Math section in the future.

... If you're curious what happened with the data graphs I've mentioned previously - they went a bit poorly and I've decided to focus on other things instead. Perhaps I'll get back to it someday.

March 29, 2021

I haven't had much time recently because I'm preparing for matura exams, but today I've finished the Music section where you can listen to most of the music I have made. I also think of expanding this section a little by writing a bit more than one to two short sentences per entry. Well then, recently my perception of mathematics has changed quite a bit and I started focusing on graphing certain data instead of random equations. I've created a "template" timeline on Desmos so that I can graph tables with data on it. You can access the template here. When I create a project of this kind worth sharing, I'll upload it in the Graphs section.

December 12, 2020

The website has been launched publically on my 18th birthday. Over the last month, I've added the Graphs and Math Tools sections.
